CVP, our long-time sponsor and leading provider of solutions for film, television and cinema production, has appointed Benoit Foucault and Niels Lubbers as senior sales representatives for the newly opened CVP Belgium facility. This new branch will enable customers in the EU to get their hands on the latest gear without the lengthy customs procedures that have been in place since Brexit.
CVP originally set up operations in Belgium in 2021 and has invested significantly in new sales and warehouse infrastructure since. The Belgium facility comprises 650sqm dedicated to stocking the latest and most popular production equipment, and now it has been officially opened.
Benoit Foucault brings over 20 years of media industry experience to the role, most recently having spent the last 10 years as Sales and Rental Manager of the Video Department and Broadcast at TV CONNECTIONS. Niels brings with him solid experience in film, TV, and camera sales having built and grown CameraTools.nl for 14 years, before bringing his knowledge to CVP.
The facility not only enables the company to tackle the challenge of availability with its large local stock holding across both the UK and Belgium, but also improves delivery times and access to knowledgeable technical sales and support advisors. Customers can also access more competitive prices for their kit from mainland Europe, as CVP Belgium offers free shipping on EU orders over €1,000 and duty and VAT free prices where applicable. Read more about CVP’s Brexit policy here.
The new facility in Belgium also incorporates an Engineering department, home to state-of-the-art technology, dedicated to restoring equipment back to top condition and boasting a large collection of spare parts stock. CVP is proud of its manufacturer approved, Authorized Service Centers and its team of specialist technicians whose knowledge, expertise and direct experience of production and testing enables them to turnaround repairs and services faster, ensuring the downtime on equipment is minimal.

According to CVP, there is much more in the pipeline for the new CVP Belgium office, with a versatile demo facility accommodating a variety of events, workshops, and tests to create bespoke solutions – designed to mirror London capabilities – planned to open this summer.
This is all very good news for customers in the EU, as CVP has been somewhat cut off since Brexit in 2020. With the opening and further growth of the new site in Belgium, we now hopefully have much easier access to equipment.
