B&H is currently running an “instant savings” deal on selected Angelbird CFexpress Type B and CFast 2.0 cards. You can save up to $130 on their 1TB AV Pro MK2 CFexpress Type B card or benefit from a 28% off when purchasing two 1TB AV Pro CFast 2.0 cards. So if you need a few backup cards, hurry up!
CFexpress Type B and CFast 2.0 cards have rapidly been adopted as the de-facto standard for recording high resolution, high frate rate RAW video. The former can be found on cameras such as the RED V-RAPTOR, Nikon Z 9 and Canon R5/R5C, for example. On the other hand, the CFast 2.0 standard is found on the RED KOMODO 6K and Blackmagic Design’s Pocket Cinema Cameras, just to name a few.
Over the years, Austrian manufacturer Angelbird built a solid reputation by producing some of the fastest and most reliable storage solutions on the market. By the way, we recently took a tour of their factory to learn more about how their class-leading products are made. You can check it out here!
The Angelbird 1TB AV Pro MK2 is part of the company’s flagship CFexpress Type B memory card series. The card offers maximum read and write speeds of up to 1785MB/s and 1550MB/s, with a sustained write speed of 1300MB/s that is guaranteed throughout the whole capacity of the card.
According to manufacturer, the card is ready to record RAW video up to 12K+ resolution. Moreover, it is claimed to be shock and vibration-resistant, while also being protected from overheating.
Discounts also apply to the company’s 1TB and 512GB AV Pro CFast 2.0 cards. They offer maximum read and write speeds of 560MB/s and 498MB/s. Moreover, they are VPG-130 rated, meaning that their write speed never drops below 130MB/s while recording videos.
These cards are approved by RED to use with their “entry-level” RED KOMODO 6K, but are also compatible with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, 6K, 6K G2, and 6K Pro, for example. Both cards are magnet, shock and X-ray proof, while also being able to withstand extreme temperatures.
The Angelbird 1TB AV Pro MK2 CFexpress Type B card is currently listed on B&H for $349.99, which represents a 27% discount on the original price of $479.99. Similar discounts apply to the CFast 2.0 lineup:
Please note: while we do our best to bring you the latest and greatest offers, deals like these tend to be ephemeral and may disappear without notice. So if you’re interested, don’t overthink it and get them while you can.
