For our latest edition of “Drop Test”, we decided to go with something a little more practical. A Litepanels MicroPro. At first glance the MicroPro seems too large for an on camera light, as opposed to its baby brother the Litepanels Micro. The MicroPro also runs on AA batteries and is considerably larger than the standard Micro. I have used the Micro for some time, as it is a great portable little light. I had always wanted to try the MicroPro to see if it was too big. We ended up Drop Testing the Litepanels MicroPro three times in our test. It kept on going each time. Everyone on the crew thought it would break apart. We were all quite pleased that it kept working after the Drop Tests. This little portable light is great for on-camera work and will do just as well mounted to a stand.  After passing our Drop Test we can highly recommend the Litepanels MicroPro. This light is indestructible!
