FUJIFILM has just announced its next X summit, followed by FUJIKINA, their “end user” event where creators can touch/try/learn about the company’s latest offerings. In a YouTube video, Yuji Igarashi-san, Divisional Manager, Professional Imaging Group, Imaging Solutions Division, announced that the next X Summit will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, on September 12th, 9 am GMT (the 13th will be dedicated to the FUJIKINA event).
It has only been three months since FUJIFILM held its last X Summit event in Bangkok where the X-S20 was announced (Review here), next to the FUJINON XF8mm F3.5 R WR lens (Review here), and the new “XApp” (Review here), and now the company is back, ready to announce a round of new products.
Before talking about the upcoming X Summit itself, let’s have a quick recap of what was mentioned by Yuji Igarashi-san in the announcement video that concerns the filmmaking community:

As expected, FUJIFILM did not reveal what products will actually be announced at the summit, but looking at all of their latest announcements, we can clearly see that they were all “X-line” related, which of course leaves the opportunity open for the company to update other cameras in its portfolio.
We have the feeling it is going to be engaging, so please join us on September 12th as we follow the event!
What do you think is still missing from the FUJIFILM line of cameras and what would you like to see in particular? Please share with us your thoughts in the comment section below
