Godox has just released a new tiny 30W LED fixture in its Litemons lineup: the Godox Litemons LC30Bi. As its name suggests, this LED light is a bi-color one, ranging from 3200K to 6500K, it has a CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 96, and you can run it from NP-F970 batteries. So let’s take a closer look at it!
Over the years, Godox built a solid reputation for making affordable LED lights and camera accessories, such as their recent SL300II bi-color COB LED light or their scrim flag kits.
Earlier this year, Godox already launched the Litemons LC30D, a daylight-only 30W LED fixture made for content creators on the go as well as product/tabletop filmmakers. Today, the company is back with a bi-color version: the Godox Litemons LC30Bi.
With dimensions of only 76 x 76 x 92mm for a weight of 299g/0.65lbs, the Godox Litemons LC30Bi is amongst the most minuscule “true” LED lights you can get if we put aside pocket LED fixtures aside.
Of course, at this weight – and price – the LC30Bi is mainly made out of plastic. On the inside, a 30W bi-color COB chip can go from 3200K to 6500K. You can dim the light from 0 to 100%, with a CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 96.
You’ll find a small status screen at the back of the fixture, a control knob, one menu button, one On/Off switch, and a 14V DC input.
At the bottom of the Godox Litemons LC30Bi, you’ll find one 1/4″-20 mounting point. The light comes with a small articulated cold shoe mount, but I think using a ball mount will be more helpful.
The LC30Bi has multiple built-in lighting effects, including the famous flash, storm, TV, broken bulb, candle, fire, and firework. However, you can’t adjust nor control the light wirelessly.
The Godox Litemons LC30Bi can be powered via the included DC power adapter. Furthermore, you can get the optional NP-F970 battery adapter to run the light with two batteries.
The Godox Litemons LC30Bi is available now, starting at $99 for the light, DC power adapter, and the cold shoe bracket.
Also, several kits are available with the AK-R11 diffuser, ML-CD15 diffusion dome, light stands, and so on.

What do you think about these compact Godox LED fixtures? Do you think they could be a great addition to your kit as accent lights? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments down below!
