The new Godox ML100Bi is a compact and portable LED light fixture offering a bicolor temperature of 2800-6500K. With a maximum power of 120W and high color reproduction, it features a reflector for precise lighting and optional accessories for added control and versatility.Â
In the times of social media, content creators need tools that fit today’s needs and can boost the quality of their videos. Since many of them film on their own and usually in tight spaces, lighting brands offer portable, lightweight solutions adapted to those circumstances. The new Godox ML100Bi is the latest addition to this market segment.Â
The new Godox ML100Bi is a compact and lightweight fixture with dimensions of 122x110x46mm (4.8×4.3×1.8″) and a weight of 487g (1.07lb). These characteristics, added to its powerful output for a light of this size (120W), make it suitable for indoor and outdoor locations.
The ML100Bi comes with a 15° lens reflector in a compact size that enhances contrast and image clarity, and it can be interchanged for an optional 36° one. The fixture can be powered in three ways: supporting DC power supply, V-mount batteries with 14.8 voltage, and power banks via a USB-C cable. The light has a Godox mount that ensures compatibility with a wide range of accessories from the brand, like the Collapsible Lantern Softbox ML-CS30 or the Octagon Softbox ML-SF50. The options expand when using an optional Bowens mount adapter. The unit has a 1/4″-20 hole at its bottom for optional tripods and accessories.
Godox claims the ML100Bi has a TLCI of 97+, a CRI of 98+, and an output of 3670 Lux at 3.3′ and 5600K. The light intensity, color, and the 11 built-in effects can be controlled with the body controls or wirelessly via the Godox Light app.Â
The Godox ML100Bi Bi-Color Portable LED Light is now available for preorder at a retail price of $199.Â
