Hollyland has recently introduced the Mars 400S PRO II, with a couple of interesting upgrades from its predecessor, now with lower latency and further transmission range. Let’s have a look at this video system.
Hollyland released the Mars 400s PRO in 2020 with new features and a new design. The 400s PRO II has the same features but with an improved latency of 0.07s (compared to 0.1s), and a 450ft/150m transmission range (compared to 400ft/121.9m).
Both the PRO and the PRO II have the same form factor. Other features include:
The PRO II also has a smart channel scan that automatically selects the best frequency channels on start-up. Channel scanning can also be done using the receiver or the HollyView app. This offers a visual display of signal interference levels across different frequencies, enabling quick identification of the most optimal frequency for use.
The Accsoon CineView HE Multi-Spectrum system transmits up to 1200ft/365.76m with a .06s latency and is currently priced at $399.
The Hollyland Mars 400s PRO II is available now for $599. For more information see the Hollyland website.

A camera was put in my hands at 16, and I’ve been taking photographs ever since. An American, I’ve lived and worked in Vienna for many years both as a photographer and a photography teacher. Currently I am the photographer for the award-winning Nesterval immersive theater group. I’m a teller of stories. Stories hold my interest. I’ll take on any project with a story to tell.
