The new version of the INOVATIV Deploy (2023) vertical rack-mount workstation offers a new frame with 16 internal (and replaceable) bars, 16U of vertical rack space, a total of 38 integrated 3/8″-16 threaded mounting points, new aluminum pull handles, carpeted tabletop with extension side wings, and height adjustable quick grips with 360° rotation. The workstation is now available for $4,599.
The California-based company INOVATIV designs and manufactures professional camera carts and other mobile workstations for the film industry and beyond. Back in 2020, we have seen INOVATIV react quite quickly to the new situation on sets by offering the AXIS health workstation for post-pandemic sets. Recently, the company launched a new version of their mobile workstation called Deploy. Let’s take a look at what is new.
Deploy has been INOVATIV’s vertical rack-mount workstation for years. The newest version of Deploy brings new improvements based on user feedback. The Deploy (2023) offers 16U of vertical 19″ rack space accessible from both the front and back of the cart.
The workstation now features a new frame with 16 internal (and replaceable) machined bars that provide a total of 38 integrated 3/8″-16 threaded mounting points for accessory mounting, new aluminum pull handles for improved comfort, height adjustable quick grips with 360° of rotation, load handles that can be mounted to any of the frame’s 38 mounting points, and a locking bottom drawer.
The tabletop height of 42.5” provides a comfortable station for standing workflows. Total working surface expands from 21.125” to 45.125” with side wings extended. When they are collapsed, Deploy is compact, easily maneuverable, and it fits through a standard door. The aluminum top surface is equipped with a 2.5” cable passthrough hole and is finished with a carpet.
The Deploy frame separates in half for simplified transportation and storage. Four removable aluminum side panels protect the inside of the workstation and still allow easy access to internal rack-mounted industry-standard 19” components.
Rear Accessory Mounts provide easy connection to INSIGHT monitor mount systems or two-stage risers. The rear crossbar supplies additional 3/8″-16 mounting points for accessories such as cable hooks and the center mast bracket provides center mounting of accessories like the two-stage riser. The Deploy frame features integrated 3/8”-16 threaded mounting points throughout and features 16 replaceable 3/8″-16 accessory bars.
According to INOVATIV, Deploy is suitable for both studio and on-location use. It features the EVO wheel system on the front and 20” traction rear wheels. EVO wheels swivel for navigation, include foot brakes for safety, and can be removed if needed. The 20” rear wheels improve mobility over uneven surfaces or rugged terrain. Deploy is designed and manufactured in Southern California.
The new 2023 INOVATIV Deploy is now available for purchase. The price has been set to $4,599 and INOVATIV offers a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty for the workstation (limitations apply). The workstation comes with a set of 2 quick grips, a set of 2 load handles, a locking bottom drawer as well as 50 pieces of 10-32 x 0.500 socket head stainless steel bolts for accessory rack mounting.
