Loupedeck+ expands its editing capabilities into Adobe Premiere Pro CC, enabling a configurable interface integrated with all of the editing applications controls.
The decision to expand Loupedeck+ to video editing was driven by community feedback, which now natively supports Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Users are able to map controls onto customizable buttons, and take control of all of the tools inside of Premiere Pro. This can help speed up the editing process with precision, having all of the controls at your fingertips rather than shortcuts.
Editing and grading interfaces have been somewhat limited to the higher end (apart from Palette) and often focused solely around colour grading, so it is good to see a company innovating into a gap in the market. Loupedeck+ will fully integrate the Lumetri Colour workspace for accurate grading control, and the ability to create your own LUT’s too.
You can check out the Loupedeck review we produced last year here, although this is specific to Adobe Lightroom.
Here are some of the functions the Loupedeck+ is capable of in Adobe Premiere Pro CC:
Loupedeck have also hinted that they will be supporting additional editing platforms, so we could see Apple Final Cut X or even Davinci Resolve added to the compatible software list. This is sure to please the massive user base of both editing platforms looking for an editing control interface.
Are you a Loupedeck+ user that can now edit in Adobe Premiere Pro CC with the device? Have you been looking for a control interface specifically for video editing? Let us know in the comments.
