The Mobile Creator Summit brings together Mojo Trainers, YouTubers and Professional Content Creators in free virtual training seminars.
If you make any kind of content primarily using a smartphone, tablet or combination of both, the Mobile Creator Summit is a free online event you won’t want to miss.
The Mobile Creator Summit is designed and hosted by the teams at Luma Touch, makers of the leading professional NLE for iPad, LumaFusion, and FiLMiC Inc, makers of the leading pro video camera app FiLMiC Pro. The event will stream live to both Luma Touch and FiLMiC’s facebook pages, YouTube channels and websites. The Mobile Creator Summit will stream live every Friday from Friday 17th April onwards for a number of weeks. Registration is completely free.
With speakers from around the world on a wide variety of topics, live Q&A, and panel discussions the Mobile Creator Summit mirrors a typical conference speaking and presentation track format.
Each Friday will cover two topic based sessions, each session comprising four 20 min presentations with Q&A, followed by a panel discussion. The topics being covered over the coming weeks include:
The premiere sessions will be hosted by Glen Mulcahy, an internationally-renowned mobile journalism trainer, and take place this Friday 17th April starting at 10:00am PDT running until 16:30 PDT. The speakers include popular YouTuber Justine Ezarik (iJustine) and Cielo de la Paz, influential mobile filmmaker and trainer Cassius Rayner, and (full disclosure) myself also.
Here is a rundown of Friday 17th sessions.
Registration and a complete schedule of sessions and presenters are available at www.mobilecreatorsummit.com
Even if you’re not using your mobile devices as primary camera and editing tools, this is a great opportunity to see how some of the best mobile creators are taking consumer hardware deep into professional territory in both approach and results. Whether you’re already a seasoned pro or just curious, the Mobile Creator Summit is the perfect opportunity to check out what’s going on.
Will you be registering and watching these sessions? Are you already using your smartphone and tablet more in your workflow? How do you see the future of these technologies in the professional creative space? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
