Australian microphone manufacturer RØDE is hosting a short film competition again that closes in about 2 weeks. Entrants are asked to create short films of up to 5 minutes in length, and the only requirement is to shoot a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot which has a RØDE microphone in one of the shots – easy. Prizes are quite amazing, total worth $70,000, including RØDE gear as well as jibs, lenses, cameras, software and much more (click here for details).
Judges include Philip Bloom, Ryan Connolly, Clinton Harn and many more.
Ryan Connolly and Olivia Speranza have produced a number of really nice little tips & tricks videos that will help you make a short film, covering various aspects in pre-production, production and post-production.
Click here to head over to the My RØDE Reel website to find out all the details about the competition and how to enter.
