So I came across the booth of edelkrone and talked to the designer of these new, pitch black aluminum rigs that hit the web with a very nice trailer several weeks ago.We took a look at the largest rig which has a shoulderpad that can be unfolded to rest on both shoulders thus giving you a nicely balanced setup. The design and idea is great and the screws seem to hold real tight at most points, but the rig still felt a little wobbly to me.At $3000 this one doesn’t come cheap and I’ll have to see if the final model will have a more tight feel for me.I’ll make sure to check out their other rigs tomorrow.
