There’s been a lot of anticipation around Redrocks microRemote System. We’ve seen it last year at NAB 2011 and they’ve taken a lot of time to make it a quite remarkable product.
The motor seemed reasonably silent and the additional thumb control as well as the iPhone and Sonar integration provide an extremely ergonomic and improved solution to keep that 4K stuff in focus.
But it’s not only for high end users, Redrock sells this device at a very competitive price. The wired version will be $1400 and the wireless one will go for $2400. It will all be available by June 1st, but you might have to get in line and wait until they’ve shipped all the pre-orders.
There’s no news on the microEVF at this time.
