According to Dale their new high end 720p monitor, the DP7 is “industry leading” in virtually any field of its class. Intruiging. I’m sure we’d all love to be able to use that ultra versatile and lightweight device on our shoots – it even has proximity sensors on the sides that pop-up button functions when you come closer with your fingers to control it. But the price just won’t be right for most of us.
It was comforting to hear that their intention is to target the high end market first and then go downward from there to eventually produce some low end market models in 2013. I’m excited to see what they come up with, they are a highly successful company with good products.
In the meantime they still offer the DP4 and DP6 monitors on their website. See a nice overview in the video below.
