B&H has launched a massive discount for the Panasonic Lumix S5 II with the Lumix 85mm S f/1.8. The price of $1,796 means a discount of $600 compared to its regular price. This is the perfect occasion if you are looking for a complete hybrid camera with competent video and photo capabilities. Check this link for the offer!
One year ago, the Panasonic Lumix S5 II appeared in the market as a continuation of Panasonic’s hybrid line of full-frame cameras, concretely the original S5. The S5 II features internal 6K30p and C4K60p recording, V-Log, hybrid AF with phase detection – and, for the first time in Panasonic history, Dual Native ISO, 5-axis stabilization, and enhanced Active IS. B&H is now offering a discount for the camera and the Lumix 85mm f/1.8.
The Panasonic Lumix S5 II delivers in photography and video. Of course, when the camera was released, the big news was the phase-detect AF system. The usual Panasonic video tools are available: waveform monitor, zebras, the newly-added vector scope for monitoring, and a wide range of recording options. The new real-time LUT function allows users to bake custom LUTs into the footage directly in the camera. Panasonic also improved the camera connections, featuring a full-size HDMI port and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connector. You can see the CineD’s S5 II lab test here and our review here.
In photography, the camera can shoot up to 9 fps at up to 200 frames (Raw) or 300 frames (JPEG) using the mechanical shutter. With the electronic shutter, the camera can shoot up to 30 fps for up to 200 frames (Raw and JPEG).
Featuring an L-Mount, the Lumix S5 II has a wide range of lenses to choose from, both Panasonic and third-party lenses. This offer comes with the Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f/1.8 Lens, which alone costs around $600, and is a perfect companion for portraits and photography with shallow depth of field.
The Panasonic Lumix S5 II with the Lumix S 85mm f/1.8 lens offer is now available at B&H for only $1,796.
