British broadcast and professional video solutions provider CVP has a special offer for several Steadicam products by Tiffen. From now until April 28th, you can save up to € 900 when you purchase a Steadicam Aero 15 or an Aero 30, or a Steadicam Zephyr HD system. Take a look and see if this offer is interesting to you.
Camera gimbals have gained immense popularity among filmmakers and content creators because they allow for camera movements similar to those achievable with a Steadicam. For example, the ZHIYUN Crane 3S Pro has a payload of 6,5 kg (14,3 lbs) and has been reviewed by DoP Scott Leslie.
The Crane 3S Pro is certainly a great tool, but in the end, it is still only a gimbal. Nothing can truly beat the floating camera movements of a real Steadicam. If you’ve thought about purchasing a full-on Steadicam system, watch this beginner’s guide and check out the CVP offers for several Steadicam products.
The Steadicam Aero 15 system is a lightweight and easily transportable camera-stabilizing kit. Depending on the model, it includes a 7″ on-board 3G-HD/SD/HDMI monitor, an A-15 vest and arm, a solo vest, and a battery mount. It also comes equipped with a 1/2 inch basic docking bracket, a BNC to BNC video cable, and a mini-XLR 3-pin to 4-pin monitor cable.
The Steadicam Aero 30 stabilizer system is a full-on Steadicam system that is also a user-friendly choice for beginners. It supports up to 8,5kg / 20lb loads and offers tool-free adjustment of the sled. Included are a 7″ HDMI/3G-SDI monitor with 1000 cd/m² brightness, an A-30 arm, a Zephyr vest, a BNC video cable, a mini-XLR monitor cable, and eight 0,11kg / 0.25lb balancing weights. A two-section carbon fiber post is extendable from 57,2–90,2cm / 22.5 to 35.5in.
The Steadicam Zephyr is a camera stabilizer with a unique design that makes it versatile and adaptable for all camera stabilization needs. The Zephyr’s vest features adjustable and pivoting shoulder buckles providing comfort even during extended use. The vest and pad covers can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement ensuring long-lasting durability. With these features and more, the Zephyr is an essential tool for any camera stabilization setup.
The offer by CVP is running from now until April 28 and includes the following: (Prices below might slightly change due to currency conversions)
