Tilta has just released an interesting Universal Cable Clamp entirely made out of aluminum, which attaches to your camera rig via one 1/4″-20 screw, allowing you to quickly and safely organize multiple cables. It is available now for $9.90 a piece and $16.90 for a pair.
A cabling nightmare can quickly appear when you add multiple accessories to your camera rig, such as a wireless video transmitter/audio receiver/follow focus, on-camera monitor, microphone, etc. To help with that cable management problem and make your setup cleaner, multiple solutions are already available from Sprig, Chroziel, and many other companies.
However, most of these cable management solutions are plastic and never firmly screwed to your camera rig. As part of its Universal lineup of accessories, Tilta has just introduced a sturdy and durable cable clamp.
The Tilta Universal Cable Clamp is a handy piece of aluminum designed to organize your camera cables without adding too much weight to your rig, with a weight of only 16g/0.56oz. Also, the clamp measures 31 x 21 x 17.5mm/ 1.22 x 0.82 x 0.69in.
The Universal Cable Clamp attaches to your camera rig, gimbal, or tripod via one 1/4″-20 screw with a retractable locking pin to prevent it from coming loose. The clamp opens up with a latch mechanism you have to press. What’s nice is that it can hold multiple 4-6mm cables at once, so you don’t need numerous clamps in the same place.
The Universal Cable Clamps are available now for $9.90/€10.29 a piece or $16.90/€17.56 if you buy a pair.
