Wooden Camera has recently released some new magnetic cable ties, called Cine Mag Ties, that can help you tidy up your camera build. They are available in two length options, come in 13 different colors, and retail for just $12.99 for a 5-piece pack. Let’s take a quick look!
Having a clean camera setup with neat cable management is essential, not only to show off your build on social media but, most importantly, to save precious time on location. Velcro ties, bongo ties, and cable clips – like the popular Sprig, for example – are among some of the most common cable management solutions you can find on a film set. But now, Wooden Camera is coming up with an alternative.
Over the last year, next to introducing several variants of their Elite Accessory System for some of the latest cinema cameras, the company has also released some really well-made, small, universal accessories like their bubble levels, accessory cubes, rod clamps, or the fantastic Accessory Plate System. Now, it’s time for their Cine Mag Ties!
The new Wooden Camera Cine Mag Ties are magnetic cable ties made out of silicon. This design makes them durable and stretchy while also allowing you to quickly add or remove a cable from a bundle.
The Cine Mag Ties are available in two different lengths – 105mm/4.1in or 175mm/6.9in. Each tie has an integrated loop to secure it in place using a 1/4”-20 screw or to wrap the silicon device around itself.
You can choose between 13 different colors, including black, yellow, red, green, blue, orange, teal, purple, pink, neon blue, neon green, neon orange, and neon orange/pink. These shades can be useful to identify each camera in a multi-cam environment, distinguish between different types of cables, or – why not – simply match your branding.
The Cine Mag Ties are now available to purchase from Wooden Camera’s website. A pack of 5 retails for $12.99, regardless of the length you choose.
