The ZEAPON Vlogtopus is a tree-shaped system that allows content creators to easily rig their tools, like cameras, microphones, and lights to a single stand. Its central structure comes in three different options: desk mount, telescopic tube, and wheeled stand.
For many vloggers and content creators, life revolves around their home studio, and particularly their desk. But producing professional, high-quality content usually requires a good amount of camera and lighting gear, while it’s not always possible to keep a home setup tidy and clean.
Chinese company ZEAPON came up with an all-in-one stand system solution aimed at vloggers and content creators, who want to use a multitude of tools, while still keeping their working environment neat. So let’s take a closer look at the new ZEAPON Vlogtopus Series system.
The Vlogtopus is a tree-shaped mounting system whose central structure can either be a desk mount, a telescopic pole, or a wheeled stand. The branches of this tree are represented by a series of folding arms that expand outwards. These can quickly be installed or detached from the central pole via a buckle-locking mechanism.
The structure can support a large variety of tools, including cameras, lights, microphones, laptops, tablets, teleprompters, and monitors. This allows content creators to easily access and rearrange their setup, according to their needs.
The whole system seems to be well thought through and solidly built, overall. For example, the telescopic pole features a 4mm thick metal construction that expands from 1.4 to 3.1 meters, thus promptly adapting to all sorts of ceilings. Moreover, it can support a maximum vertical payload of 300kg.
Besides the main structure, all the accessories of the ZEAPON Vlogtopus Series are cross-compatible between the different central rigs. This means you can quickly and easily move your whole setup from the desk mount to the wheeled stand and freely move it around in your home studio, for example.
The company offers a pre-made Desk Mount kit that comes with a comprehensive set of accessories. The pack includes:
At the moment, it doesn’t seem like the company has released any clear information regarding the pricing and availability of the Vlogtopus system. If you’re interested in the product, I suggest keeping an eye on ZEAPON’s website for future updates.
