FilmConvert adds profile for Sony A7S

FilmConvert has added support to the Sony A7S. Users of the film emulation software can download the profile for free from the FilmConvert website, enabling full compatibility with the popular Sony mirrorless camera.

There’s plenty of plugins out there claiming to produce ‘that film look’. As a user of many myself, I can say that FilmConvert is by far the best package I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

It’s really easy to use, operating as a stand alone program or a plugin to your NLE platform.

FilmConvert hosts a wide selection of camera profiles on its website, you simply download a profile for the camera you’re working with. The software uses this profile as a base to build an accurate look of the type of film emulation you desire.

Previously, the closest profile to the Sony A7S available has been the F55. Now FilmConvert has released a profile specific to the Sony A7S, allowing support for all picture profiles including Cine, ITU709 and S-log.
