FilmConvert DJI Mavic 2 Pro Camera Profile Available

FilmConvert has released a new camera profile for DJI’s latest drone, the Mavic 2 Pro. This camera profile takes advantage of the new 10-bit HDR and LOG video capabilities of the aircraft. Let’s take a look.

With the Mavic 2 Pro, DJI completely re-engineered the – already excellent – Mavic Pro. The Mavic 2 Pro features a brand-new camera module which DJI co-engineered with Hasselblad.

Featuring a 1″ CMOS sensor, the Mavic 2 Pro can shoot stunning footages in 4K UHD (up to 30fps), recorded in an H.265 codec with a 100Mbps bitrate, and up to 10-bit HDR and LOG video. All in all, the footages are amazing.

The built-in lens is 28mm (full frame equivalent) focal length with an adjustable aperture of f/2.8-f/11.

If you are not familiar with FilmConvert, it’s a grading solution that works both a stand-alone application and a plugin supported by most NLEs. It is designed to help with and speed up the color grading process.
