Our friends at lensvid.com brought to our attention ikan’s latest product, the DragonFly, a handheld Rig with USB Control Grip.
This unique new product offers USB control grip to your VDSLR from within the cage if wanted. (the rubber grip can be replaced with the USB control grip). If you take a look at their promotion video you can see it is attached to a Canon camera. I wonder if a other camera versions will be supported soon too.
Here is a rip from Ikan’s product overview regarding its capabilities:Adjust the focus or the iris, zoom display, and even start or stop video recording with the press of a button. The USB Control grip is compatible with most Canon DSLR’s, including the 6D, 7D, 5D Mark II, and 5D Mark III. The multiple, conveniently placed ¼ 20 attachment points gives the user versatility for mounting other accessories.
The USB control grip can be punched separately. Click here for the B&H page
