Lightbridge has introduced a new Cine Reflect Lighting System (CRLS) kit: the C-Move Core. Hand-crafted in Vienna, Austria, the system has been designed after getting feedback from DoPs and lighting designers, and it features 100% CRLS components. Let’s take a look at it!
Lightbridge, the company created in Austria by gaffer Jakob Ballinger, introduced the Cine Reflect Lighting System (CRLS) in 2017. It consists of a series of reflectors that pair with standard light sources to control and diffuse light resulting in a natural look in the images produced. Created by Austrian cinematographer Christian Berger, the system is a lightweight solution and easy to set up, and now the company has introduced a new kit: the C-Move Core kit.
The C-Move Core Kit includes Precision Reflectors with coated surfaces that reflect 97% of the light and measure 100% of color rendering. The system emulates a key light and can aim diffused light with precision. The kit includes various light shaping configurations: DIFF 1 Hard circular light ray, DIFF 2 Medium circular light ray, and Diff 3 Soft circular light ray.
The C-Move Core fits into the Lightbridge’s Movebag, a waterproof padded bag with a shoulder strap and different compartments, and extra room for other lighting and grip gear. The Precision Reflectors are bend-resistant and free of imperfections on the surface. They come in neoprene sleeves, including 15x15cm (DIFF 1-3), 25x25cm (DIFF 1-3), 50x50cm (DIFF 1-3), two each C-Wheel Receivers and cables, two each rigging and safety wedges, a black C-Pouch, and extra cleaning aids.
The C-Move Core kit will be available soon at Lightbridge’s official dealers. For more information and updates, please check the product’s page here.
