I was in Chicago teaching the Canon EOS moving image workshop this last week and I thought I might as well stop by Zacuto and see what was going on over there. I was surprised to find that they also have a rental house in the basement along side the manufacturing they do there in house. I hit up Steve Weiss for some info on the accessory for the Z finder that has been talked about here on C5D. I also asked him the most obvious question of them all. Why so expensive? Steve was candid in his response, making stuff here in the states is not cheap and a lifetime warranty also comes with a price. I must admit they run a great shop and have some cool people putting the gear together. C5D cameraman Chris Collins hooked up this edit.
